The hotel is perfectly situated, with the university and city center within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even switching our room to ensure my comfort with a medical boot. However, the included dining, while tasty, may be a bit confusing in terms of options. The hilltop location offers great views but might be a hike for some.

The hotel is located at the top of the hill into Canterbury, offering excellent parking options and avoiding city traffic. The rooms are spacious with a large lounge but need a thorough cleaning. The service is exceptionally friendly, responsive, and helpful. The dining experience provides delicious options but offers only continental breakfast. Facilities are adequate with a fresh orange juice highlight.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were nice and clean, with a comfy bed, perfect for a night's stay, but unfortunately, they stunk of cigarette smoke. The service was exceptional, with genuinely wonderful and accommodating staff. The location was great for me, being close to the University of Kent and not far from Canterbury itself, though the smell of smoke was noticeable. The dining experience offered a good selection of food, but there was a clear presence of cigarette smoke. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with excellent service, but the odor of smoke was a drawback.

The hotel offers a lovely green view overlooking the gardens at the back, providing a comfortable and warm stay with plenty of hot water. However, the noise from the road and thin walls could be bothersome at times. The hosts were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our short break, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. The location was excellent for exploring Canterbury and Whitstable, being within walking distance to both the city center and the university. The dining experience, in continental style, offered a plentiful selection of cereals, fruits, yogurts, croissants, and bread for toast, presented in good quality. The facilities were satisfactory, meeting our needs during the stay.
